I think my son might have Asperger’s, he fits a lot of the criteria. However, he is also dealing with a lot of anger. I am wondering if his trouble associating with his peers may be causing the anger.

Sure, it can be very frustrating when you have trouble with social interactions.

It sounds like you have a good understanding of your son. Most parents or teachers automatically label this as a behavioral issue.
In children with Asperger’s, this can actually be stress due to sensory overload, or from people constantly pressuring him for more interaction than he can handle.

No the anger comes out of the misunderstood word phenomena that gives the kids a hard time.
Also there is no mental disorder but only a doctor who wants get richer.

Most of them if not all of them do. This is do partly due to frustration caused by Aspergers and the social and usually communication problems. There is a trend now to label kids with aspergers or other "autistic spectrum disorders." I don’t know what other symptoms he has but don’t let someone give him such a serious label unless there is no other choice.
