I have noticed that it seems like skinny people who are tall may have some anger problems. I started noticing because some of the students and teachers at my school have like bad mood swings, and can at bi-polar somtimes. And the majority of the ones that do it are skinny and tall. And i have heard other people say the same thing. So i was just wondering if anybody else out there might have witnessed or seen the same thing that im seeing.
*There is an excellent book out called:
"Working With Anger" – teaching effective techniques on How to Cultivate Patience-which is the alternative to anger; teaches what to do when our buttons are pushed; how to effectively cope with negative criticism; letting go of grudges and resentments; teaches how to cultivate love, kindness and compassion and much more. *Thubten Chodron, the author of this book – defines Patience as the ability to remain internally and externally calm and undisturbed in the face of harm and difficulties in life. *Patience is a quality we all – as human beings – need to cultivate more of, in our lives.
Do you all think that skinny, tall people have a higher chance for anger problems?

Ah, Sheldon’s somatotype theory on behavior. It has been disproven. But, still interesting. Try Goodling Sheldon, personality, and somatoform.

No. That is not a proven fact. Plus that is probably just a coincidence because any type of person, black, white, tall, skinny, short, fat, etc. can have anger issues. You probably just have that thought in your mind so you really only notice the tall and skinny people have anger problems. I know many people that aren’t too tall and not the skinniest people around, have anger issues. And just in my opinion, it seems like it would be the other way around if it was true. I’m just tryin to help. Sorry if i didn’t!

I don’t think so…I’m not that tall (about 1.63m) and not skinny (just normal) and I can have anger problems at times.

No. If you consider people who are overweight or have an overeating disorder from emotional issues or depression turned inward.
Maybe the skinny people are not going through bipolar mood swings but low sugar.
Speaking of sugar, people who are bigger because of pregnancy, or people who have diabetes can have mood swings too.
Bipolar is a serious mental disorder that should be diagnosed by professionals, and it can result in suicide and physical harm to themselves and others if left untreated or poorly treated. And bipolar medications can cause weight gain so the person won’t be skinny any more.
People who are on PMS or PMDD can have mood swings too. And some of the students could be a combination of things if they are skinny, like going through hormonal changes of puberty or menstrual cycles, anorexia if they are way too skinny, and sugar levels. Other than the anorexia, the other two can affect overweight people too.
There are other things that can cause mood swings and anger in people too. And anger is a normal part of life and so are having feelings change (I’m not talking about extreme mood fluctuations of bipolars).
People who go through stress or mental disorders can act angry too.
People who are regular weight and exercise and eat right and don’t have a lot of stress or some trauma and don’t have physical health or mental health issues have a lower chance for anger issues. People who are the opposite of that have a higher chance of anger problems.
Ps
People who overeat as a way to self medicate can feel happier because of the way food acts in their bodies. They may still have the anger or the depression or whatever, but they are self medicated, just like a skinny person who is on actual medication for anger or mood swing problems would be.
You might want to look up serotonin and dopamine and foods, they can cause changes in how a person acts too.
