Ok so me and my friend were talking yesterday and were talking about how crazy our families are and how they just drive us absoulutly off the edge crazy!!! They make us so mad too. Does anyone know any good anger management techniques for this or any relaxing techniques? Please help
Okay, DO NOT CUT YOURSELF! You have to find something relaxing to you. Such as i find reading and listing to music relaxing. I have very bad nerves and it does not take much at all to push me over the edge so when i feel im about to flip out i go to my room and just listen to music or read a book or take a hot shower. You have to find what is relaxing to you though not anyone else just you. A counsler can help if things are too crazy.

Remaining clam in those situations id difficult but, it can make all involved calm down also. If you cannot take the heat, go for a walk, or
a bike ride. It helps your body release the proper hormones to help you.

Howling at the moon!
I don’t mean a wee "ooooooh" at the moon – REALLY OPEN UP!
ArrroooooooooooOOOOOOH! YIP! YIP! YIP! YIP! AOOOOOOOOW!
Scream and rant and rave at the moon! <ok… the men in the white coats are here…>

Don’t talk to anyone who is being overly emotional and angry. Usually it just makes things worse. Go off and relax. Think positive thoughts or try not to think at all. Just take deep breaths and calm yourself down.
Of course you have to feel you anger and find out just what you are angry about. The next step after you calm down is to take some action about the thing that made you angry. The action step helps to deminish your anger and resolve the problem.

It helps to have a photo … actual size… of the face of the person who ticks you off … then just punch it to release the tension…
If you wanna make a real impact … tape the photo to the face of the person, just prior to pounding the picture with a stick or fist.
Good Luck !
